About the Institution

Tel-Hai Academic College, recognized as an independent institution in 1996, is one of the leading and most influential academic institutions in northern Israel and serves as a cornerstone for social, economic, and academic development in the Galilee and the Golan.

The college has approximately 5,000 undergraduate and graduate students enrolled in 34 academic programs, alongside an additional 2,000 participants in its continuing education units. With over 1,500 employees, Tel-Hai is the largest employer in the Eastern Galilee.

Today, the college is undergoing a strategic transformation into the University of the Galilee, through a merger with the MIGAL Research Institute, establishing an innovative model that integrates applied research, advanced education, and regional development.

    Hundreds of students take part in internships within the foodtech, agritech, and sustainability industries during their studies, serving as a professional talent pipeline for the future workforce.

    The college maintains partnerships with leading universities and companies in Israel and abroad to promote education, research, and entrepreneurship.
