About the Company

Fresh Start is a foodtech incubator established in 2020 as part of Israel’s national network of innovation incubators, under the supervision of the Israel Innovation Authority.
Led by Dganit Vered (CEO) and Dr. Tami Meiron (Chief Technology Officer), Fresh Start specializes in creating innovative ventures and transferring academic technologies to the market.
To date, it has invested in 15 startup companies, with plans for further expansion in the coming years.

Fresh Start’s vision is to build a healthier, more innovative, and sustainable food industry — addressing key global food challenges and integrating solutions from the agritech sector.

Backed by strategic partners Tnuva, Tempo, OurCrowd, and Finistere Ventures, the incubator provides startups with comprehensive support:
Seed and pre-seed funding, access to top technology experts, R&D resources, and full-scale business guidance — with the goal of turning breakthrough ideas into products that will transform the food industry.
